Financial contributions and assistance

There are some costs associated with going to school that you may find it helpful to plan and budget for.

Costs to consider include:

  • uniforms

  • school books and equipment

  • excursions

  • co-curricular activities.

School fees allow us to provide very necessary resource material for the education of all students. They assist us in the purchasing of text books, library resources, audio-visual materials, sports equipment, computer and science materials, and a very large range of resources for all faculty areas. While School Contributions are voluntary, they greatly assist the school in providing materials and resources to extend all teaching and learning programs.

Each student is requested to pay a School Service Contribution according to the following scale:

  • Years 7 and 8: $50
  • Years 9 and 10: $55
  • Years 11 and 12: $60

Where there is more than one member of the family attending, the school, the child in the more senior year pays the full school service contribution and the othe child(ren) pay half the contribution applicable to their year. This contribution is tax deductible.

Subject Fees

Subject fees are part of the course and provide the materials for students' own personal work. Students take these projects home when they are completed and assessed.

The associated subject costs are detailed in the subject selection booklet and should be taken into consideration when making subject choices.

Voluntary school contributions

Like all NSW public schools, we can request contributions to enhance our educational and sporting programs including elective subjects. School contributions help provide additional educational resources for the benefit of students. Payment is voluntary.

For more information, visit theĀ Voluntary School Contribution policy.

Financial assistance

If you are unable to pay school contributions because of financial hardship, you may be eligible for assistance from the school.

Our principal will ensure no student or family suffers any discrimination or embarrassment over the inability to pay school contributions.
