Agriculture Program

Our Agriculture program provides students with a direct connection to the land through practical experiences in farming, livestock management, and sustainable methods. We offer nationally recognised VET qualifications alongside real-world exposure. Students have the opportunity to participate in events such as the Northern Schools Prime Lamb & Steers Competition, local shows, Brisbane Ekka, and the Dubbo Whether Competition. Our committed educators and up-to-date resources, our small rural school is dedicated to nurturing each student’s growth and success in agriculture and beyond.

Exploring Science

At Tenterfield High School, we are passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers. Our science program offers exciting opportunities for students to engage in hands-on learning and real-world problem solving.

Students can join the Science and Engineering Challenge, collaborating on engineering tasks and competing with other schools. Senior biology students also attend a field trip to Thalgarra Environmental Education Centre in Armidale, where they study local ecosystems and conduct field research.
